As a Project Associate, Oryema is deeply passionate about social accountability and is committed to making a difference in Buliisa District. He coordinates RDP Uganda’s activities in the district, providing leadership and overseeing the implementation of various initiatives. Oryema has played a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of service delivery monitoring, conducting community trainings, and supporting community monitoring groups with assistance from the Inspectorate of Government and the Office of the Prime Minister.

Oryema is an activist and social worker dedicated to promoting social accountability. He is part of the Global Platform, ACTIVISTA, and community volunteers, demonstrating his commitment to empowering communities. His work focuses on driving innovation and creativity among youth, which he believes are essential for securing decent jobs and promoting peace and sustainable development worldwide.

Oryema envisions a future where innovative and creative youth lead the way in securing decent employment opportunities, which will act as catalysts for promoting peace and sustainable development around the world.

Oryema Edison holds a Diploma in Social Work and Social Administration from Kyambogo University.
